CHC42608 – Certificate IV in Celebrancy (RPL & Training Out Only – Superceded)

This Certificate IV program will equip you with all the mandatory pre-requisites you need to gain registration as a Marriage Celebrant.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate and Statement of Attainment from NHA Australia’s Celebrancy Academy, this will form part of your application which is required to be lodged with the Attorney Generals Department for Registration.

The qualification packaging rules consists of the successful completion of 13 units (5 Core + 8 Electives).

Please note this qualification is now superceded by Certificate IV in Celebrancy CHC41015.

The Certificate IV qualification includes both in-class & personal study delivery.

Assessment for this qualification includes in class assessments, assignments, examinations, individual activities (written and verbal) and structured practical activities.

What is involved in achieving this qualification?

To achieve this qualification, students need to attain competency in 13 units of Competency 5 Core Units and 8 Elective Units.

RPL / RCC (Recognition or Prior Learning / Recognition of Current Competency)

In most circumstances NHAA recognises qualifications issued by other RTOs under the AQF, and has RPL and RCC programs are available with appropriate evidence and the meeting NHAA standards.

There are no pre-requisites for this qualification, however students are required to have sufficient literacy, numeracy and computer skills (minimum to year 11), and you will also need to be aware that on the completion of this course and upon meeting Government registration requirements Celebrants must maintain appropriate records and documents and be conversant and up to date with appropriate legislation and regulations.
